You can always expect the best of the best from Rimowa collaborations, and this latest partnership with Porsche is another stunner that you should add to your growing wish list come 21 April 2022.

Two iconic German companies have joined forces to produce the Hand-Carry Case Pepita (SGD4010), one that combines Rimowa’s iconic grooved aluminium with design elements taken from the first generation Porsche 911 car.

Designed to be carried by hand to make a statement wherever you go, each case is decorated with high-gloss detailing that reminds you of the silver mirror finishing of the classic Porsche 911.

Additional elements like the black leather straps with polished hardware are also inspired by traditional Porsche hood straps, and you will be pleased to find an original Porsche crest attached right in front.

The interior is jam-packed with even more Porsche touches like the zipped X-strap that represents a seatbelt, as well as the Houndstooth Pepita fabric and zipped U-pocket on the opposite side. Only 911 (as a nod to the Porsche 911) numbered pieces will be produced, making this a must-have piece for ardent collectors of both brands.

Of course, this collaboration also comes with a limited set of Rimowa x Porsche Pepita stickers, sold separately in a set (SGD50) of three retro-inspired hues that you can paste all over the grooved aluminium exterior.

The Hand-Carry Case Pepita can also be taken around easily thanks to its wheel-free design, and the dimensions have been precisely calculated so that it fits perfectly in the boot of a Porsche car. Looking for a grab-and-go suitcase for weekends and a quick trip out of town? This would be it.
