As with all new seasonal collections, you can always expect something new and exciting. And now that you’re fully acquainted with Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2022 which includes the Daybreak collection for men, the French fashion brand has launched its Pre-Fall 2022 line-up, signalling a gradual shift into the next chapter of what you can expect in stores.
Leather goods and SLGs remain a core focus of the house, evident in the strong selection of pieces that come in the new Damier Spray. The oversized XL checkerboard print has undergone a major uplift with this street art-inspired rendition, recreating a cool 3D spray paint look that’s rather electrifying to boot.
Not only do the chain squares come in the eye-catching motif, the LOUIS VUITTON PARIS logo is also given a similar treatment for a complete look on the white cowhide leather exterior.
Can’t wait to get your hands on these pieces? You can find them all at Louis Vuitton’s Singapore online store, starting with the Pocket Organiser (SGD880) which measures 11 cm by 8 cm. With 5 inner pockets, 3 card slots and another compartment at the back, this nifty SLG is as functional as it gets.
The next two SLGs would be the Double Zipped Card Holder (SGD1100) and Multiple Wallet (SGD1260), both larger sizes that come in at 12 cm by 8.5 cm and 11.5 cm by 9 cm respectively. The dual zips on the former give it extra security, while the latter is a classic billfold wallet which can be slipped easily into your pocket.
Bag lovers can look out for the Trio Messenger (SGD4000), a casual three-in-one comprising a large main bag and a smaller pouch, along with a coin purse attached to the strap. Wear them together and you’ve got a 25 cm by 18.5 cm style good enough for a day out, or you can always pick them apart if you need smaller pieces for the grab-and-go.
The Racer Backpack (SGD5250) is one of the newer backpack styles at Louis Vuitton, and this Damier Spray iteration also comes accentuated with an extra chain detailing on the front pocket. Overall, the roomy bag measures 41 cm by 33 cm, filled with numerous pockets and zipped closures to keep everything neat and organised.
Then there’s the Keepall 50B (SGD5800) that needs little introduction, highly regarded as a tried-and-tested classic that remains a staple in Louis Vuitton’s collection season after season.
Both the Racer and Keepall each come with an oversized LV signature tag for a graphic appeal, and you can always leave them on as a bag charm if you love an extra pop.
