Into its fifth iteration, Loewe’s Paula’s Ibiza capsule collection is back for another season with new summertime classics. And one of the key highlights for this year’s unisex capsule includes a focus on ombré colours for bags, evident in the cult-favourite Anagram Basket returning in iraca palm with a cool dégradé effect.
Each basket bag is handwoven using iraca palm by women artisans from Corporación Oficio y Art. The natural fibre is grown, harvested and sun-dried in Columbia before it’s intricately woven to form this sturdy Loewe tote.
The small measures approximately 38 cm wide and 17 cm high, while the medium is significantly roomier at 48 cm by 24.5 cm. Take note that both sizes are sold together with two long shoulder straps, but only the medium one will come with additional short leather handles for hand-carry.
As for colours, you can look forward to Khaki Green/Yellow for the small size, while the medium bag is offered in Fuchsia/Orange and Pink/Orange for that bodacious effect.
And given that each Anagram Basket is also crafted entirely by hand, expect the ombré effect and bag structure on individual pieces to differ slightly as a result.
No matter your choice, both the small (SGD1150) and medium (SGD1350) are sold together with the calfskin Anagram logo embroidered in front, and you can have a go at personalising your bags with additional Loewe charms attached at the base of the handle loops for that added splash of fun.
