Chanel’s iconic ballet flats (referred to as ‘ballerinas’), have been a crowd favourite over the years. The rounded toe, flat heel and that comfy inner lining have all contributed to making it one of the must-have footwear staples from the French fashion house.
It also helps that they’re really easy to pair (and wear). Whether you’re throwing on a casual tee and jeans ensemble, matching it with a long skirt or even dressed in a classic tweed suit, these ballerinas will always be that perfect final, effortless touch.
Today, the iconic footwear appears in numerous styles. The originals with the CC logo and ribbon detailing remain a classic staple at Chanel, but there are seasonal variations that come with a similar profile without the logo or ribbon. Instead, just like these #CHANELSpringSummer ones, they come adorned with a jewel-like detailed chain that’s to be worn around the ankle.

You can appreciate two main styles (they range between SGD1760 and SGD2480) of these seasonal specials. One comes with the leather-interlaced chain with matching metallic bar, fashioned with a CC charm on one end and the beloved camellia on the other. Chic with loads of visual interest, this iteration is available on the full lambskin leather flats with patent calfskin toe caps.
The next style has a slightly more ornate design, embellished with colourful stones and jewel elements around the gold-tone chain. While the ballerinas are sold together with the accompanying jewel chain, you can also remove them on days when you prefer a simpler look on the feet.
Love the classic ballerinas but prefer them with a twist? You’re looking at them right now.
