You must be familiar with Chanel’s Mini Flap by now, especially so since everyone started to favour all the smaller-than-small bags. And with the trend not abating anytime soon, here’s a quick run-through of this seasonal special which is part of the #CHANELSpringSummer collection that’s now out in boutiques.
More famously known for its quilted lambskin leather version in 2 mini sizes (there’s the standard rectangle and the standard square), it used to be offered in caviar leather as well. But with those now presumed to be as extinct as the dodo, they are often reinterpreted to give those who want something new to fawn over.
Case in point? Today’s Mini Flap comes in multi-colour sequins matched with gold-tone hardware and a standout sling that’s interlaced with white leather instead of the usual black. Measuring some 20 cm by 14 cm by 8 cm, the SGD8010 bag is priced higher than the regular leather versions, but surely justified, given the amount of sequin-work all over the bag.
And as always, nothing desirable will stay on the shelves at Chanel for long, so it is best you head down stat to check it out, along with other new-in goodies from Chanel’s #CHANELSpringSummer collection.
