Who would have imagined that the beloved Mademoiselle would be making a stunning return for Chanel’s J12 once again? This time, there are three distinctly different iterations created by Arnaud Chastaingt for #WatchesandWonders2022, each limited to just 55 pieces that are slated for an exclusive launch soon.

For starters, a timepiece that’s all fun and whimsical. Meet the Mademoiselle J12 La Pausa (SGD173,200) that features the cheeky Mademoiselle Chanel illustration in a Breton top and sailor pants inspired by her villa on the French Riviera.

This is the first time the Mademoiselle J12 will come with the Caliber 12.1 self-winding Manufacture movement, and it will only be available in the all-black ceramic and 18K white gold version.

Tiny but mighty, the Mademoiselle J12 XS (SGD72,200) has a 19 mm diameter with the cutest figurine placed near the 10 and 11 o’clock positions. The 18K white gold and black lacquer Coco figurine has a two-tone straw hat detailing with a single brilliant-cut diamond for a touch of luxe.

Of course, it matches perfectly with the 24 baguette-cut diamonds on the bezel and black ceramic bracelet laced with 116 brilliant-cut diamonds, making this a chic option for evenings out.

The pièce de résistance is none other than the J12 Gabrielle Caliber 3.1 (SGD404,200) with an openwork dial revealing the profile of Gabrielle Chanel dressed in black and draped with her signature pearls.

The 18K white gold bezel is set with baguette-cut diamonds, and the timepiece is powered by Chanel’s in-house Caliber 3.1 Manufacture manual winding movement.
