Gucci updates its signature GG Supreme canvas from time to time, and in its latest, has chosen to add a twist by switching out the dark browns for a deep shade of blue.

Probably inspired by the archival bags (yes, the colour combo feels familiar), the GG monogram within the beige canvas is given a cool blue hue, and it gets even more obvious with the leather panelling and straps on some of Gucci’s classic bags like the Dionysus and Gucci Horsebit 1955, for instance.

A quick peek at Gucci’s online store has revealed that there are at least 10 different bags that now come in Beige/Blue GG Supreme canvas, but here’s a quick look at 2 key silhouettes for easier reference.

There’s the Dionysus Small GG Shoulder Bag (SGD3750), with the slinky chain strap on the Dionysus giving it an edgier look. Measuring some 25 cm wide and 13.5 cm high, it will hold enough for a regular day out, which is always a treat.

Then there’s the mini Gucci Horsebit 1955 (SGD3910) that’s sold together with two different sling options, one in leather and another in a blue-red-blue nylon strap for a less formal look. And what it lacks in size (it measures just 20 cm by 14.5 cm), it more than makes up with its vintage good looks and rounded curves. 

Made with low environmental impact (yes, the Italian fashion house has taken steps for the good of the environment), it has officially launched across all Gucci boutiques.
