Just because the Lunar New Year is drawing to an end doesn’t change the fact that it is still the #YearOfTheTiger. And the fact that there will even be more tiger and tiger-striped bags and accessories in the days and months to come won’t come as a surprise either.
Case in point? Mulberry’s upcoming capsule collection with British illustrator Lucy Kirk that’s due for a release in Singapore come early March 2022.
And two of the standout bags are the Mini Alexa and Small Darley Satchel, both iconic silhouettes bearing the iconic Postman’s Lock that doubles up as the logo and clasp on the bag’s flap,but given Kirk’s creative twist.
The Mini Alexa (SGD2160) will come with the embossed tiger-striped print, adding a whimsical touch to the grained leather exterior in Cornflower Blue. The Alexa is a tried-and-tested classic, and this mini size measuring 22 cm wide and 17 cm high makes for a fun option for the everyday.

As for the Small Darley Satchel (SGD1390), this has Kirk’s playful take with a cheeky blue tiger printed on the elongated front flap. The Darley was recently given new updates in the form of a wider jacquard strap for the mini size (19.5 cm by 15 cm), so you can count on it to sit comfortably across the body for a hands-free style.
Both bags (along with a smattering of accessories like a bag charm and a phone cover) will be arriving at the Mulberry boutiques at Hilton Shopping Gallery and Takashimaya Department Store soon, but you can always leave your name and number to be informed the moment they’re available for sale.
