Loewe’s Hammock has had its fair share of updates since the day it was introduced, largely in the form of a second drawstring format that gave fans another alternative tto the original zippered styles. Six years after making their debut at Spring-Summer 2016, Jonathan Anderson decides to shake things up by introducing a brand new interpretation in full Nappa calfskin leather while adding a unique twist to the versatile handbag.

Called the Hammock Nugget, this refreshing style has a slight change in terms of silhouette and proportions, thanks to the soft and smooth leather that takes on a different shape depending on how you use it.

Holding it via the single top handle gives you a miniature tote with the sides folded inward to form a lantern-like shape. But if you attach the adjustable leather strap, you will find yourself looking at a trapezoid Hammock Nugget, with the sides now opened to give you extra space for all your daily needs.

Another interesting fact? This one comes without any zips or drawstring closures, making it a fuss-free option for the grab-and-go. Measuring 20 cm by 20 cm, the Hammock Nugget makes for the perfect in-between size to the Hammock Mini and Hammock Small. There’s an internal slip pocket for keeping important notes, while all your other bits and bobs can fit comfortably within the single roomy compartment.

The Hammock Nugget (SGD3650) will come in five shades, starting with seasonal options like Avocado Green, Celestine Blue and Deep Blue for those who love a cool hue, while safer (and classic) options include Soft White and Warm Desert. The good news? All shades are now available as part of Loewe’s Spring-Summer 2022 collection in stores and online.
