It’s no secret that Anya Hindmarch has always been at the forefront of sustainability and care for the environment, having developed an entire line made using recycled plastic bottles that would have otherwise been sent to landfills.

Combined with her cheeky taglines and quirky prints, the ‘I Am A Plastic Bag’ collection has since grown to become a staple design of the British fashion brand, with functional roomy totes that carry a resemblance (in terms of texture and weight) to cotton canvas.

Not be confused with the runaway hit ‘I’m Not A Plastic Bag’ that launched almost a decade ago (do you remember how much they were going for on eBay?), these newly arrived styles feature a checkered print alongside the AH monogram, with three bright colours in Honey, Periwinkle and Viridian that appear on a selection of sizes.

Go for the XS size (GBP375) if you want a handy zippered style and shoulder strap for daily use, or you can always get the small (GBP540) if you need something larger to fit your laptop and A4 documents.

The biggest of them all would be the XL size (GBP660), perfect as an oversized carryall for a quick staycation or to the gym.

While the ‘I Am A Plastic Bag’ tote is predominantly made from canvas-like fabric using recycled plastic bottles, they do have leather elements like the handles and reinforced corners to keep the bag in shape.

These leathers are also ethically sourced, so you can be assured that Anya Hindmarch has made sure that they are fully accountable in this aspect as well.
