If you go beyond the psychedelic colours and party hues of Louis Vuitton’s #LVMenSS22 collection, you will find a couple of hidden gems that are rather pared-down by comparison. One of them includes the Vertical Box Trunk, a new and exciting silhouette inspired by Louis Vuitton’s signature luggage and hard-sided cases.

Rendered in a casual format for daily use, this compact case is fitted with a top handle and leather strap that offer multiple ways of carrying. Then there are the details. Both bags sport the numbers ‘7’ and ‘N°7’ prominently, referencing Virgil Abloh’s seventh collection for Louis Vuitton.

And aside from the obvious contrasts in terms of colour, both styles are offered in different materials as well. Opt for the full leather bag that comes in a bright yellow. Priced at SGD4200, the smooth cowhide leather complements the natural leather handles and strap, giving you a classic combination that’s not to be missed.

Then there is the one in classic monogram (SGD3650), crafted from the hardy coated-canvas that’s paired with a neon green handle to give it a sharp contrast. The monogram also comes with a faded ‘wash’, giving the classic motif an unexpected twist.

Measuring 22 cm wide and 15.5 cm high, the Vertical Box Trunk is available in a single size. The good news? Both styles are available at Louis Vuitton’s Marina Bay Sands boutique, as well as the online store in Singapore, but with the Lunar New Year just around the corner, you might want to head down to get your hands on it instead.
