A rose is a rose is a rose. And while it doesn’t get more classic than a rose fragrance, Diptyque’s latest Unleash The Rose collection presents the timeless bloom in a whole new light.

In celebration of the Parisian parfumerie’s Eau Rose EDT, an infusion of damascena and centifolia roses, the limited-edition collection is here to provide new scents for a rosy new year. Joining the Eau Rose EDT that’s now available in an exclusive decorative 100 ml (SGD209) bottle is an all new Eau Rose EDP (SGD246 for 75 ml) and four scented candles (SGD118 for 190 g).

Thanks to a new extraction method, this faceted and exuberant rose bouquet captures the fruity accents of lychee, along with unexpected hints of vegetal artichoke and honeyed chamomile that amplify the perfume’s floral intensity.

You’ll also find delightful scented candles, each one revealing a little-known olfactory aspect of the rose. Presented in glass vessels decorated with graphic illustrations representing each aroma, the whimsical candles can be lit alone or all together to recreate a lush and beautiful perfumed bouquet, a setting dreamed up by floral artist Maurice Harris.

There’s the existing Rose candle in a collector-worthy vessel, alongside three new arrivals. First up, Artichaut (artichoke), a boutique exclusive that’s floral and green, and laced with a gentle iris accord. Next, soothing Camomille (chamomile) a honey infusion enhanced by fresh powdery violet leaves. Lastly, the deliciously scented Litchi (lychee) that’s fruity, tangy and floral all at once.

Ready to stop and smell the roses? The limited-edition Unleash The Rose collection is now available at Diptyque’s boutique at Takashimaya Shopping Centre, its dedicated space at Tangs at TANG Plaza, Escentials Paragon and online via Escentials.
