With Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2022 collection only slated for launch towards end-March, the French fashion house has begun revealing its #CHANELSpringSummer pre-collection offerings online, which launches today at Marina Bay Sands and at Takashimaya Shopping Centre tomorrow.
It’s SLGs galore, with some of your favourite designs getting a slight update this season, such as added tweaks in the form of the CC logo hardware on the chain sling and a string of glass pearls for the Vanity With Chain and Belt Bag respectively. There will also be new silhouettes, so read on to find out more.
You can think of the light blue Clutch With Chain (SGD3790) as a shrunken down version of the Flap Bag, coming in a cute size that measures 11.2 cm by 10.5 cm. The added difference? This lambskin leather version has an extra top handle, dedicated card slots and a thin mirror that give it more points in terms of function.
The Small Vanity With Chain (SGD3630) next to it comes in light yellow, and this familiar piece now comes with an additional gold-tone logo chain for extra sparkle and shine.

The next two are known as the Belt Bag, priced at SGD2870 for the dark pink in grained shiny calfskin and SGD3540 for the light blue lambskin leather. Both styles come in the same 10.3 cm by 7 cm size, so it’s down to which colour and material you prefer.
Of course, the added pearl detailing makes the latter a strong contender for the fans, as pearls were adored by Gabrielle Chanel who often presented them as costume jewellery in her collections back in the 1920s.

Two more pink options are available for your consideration, starting with the Vanity Phone Holder With Chain (SGD3710) which is perfectly sized to keep mobile devices like the #iPhone13ProMax stored in an upright position all day long.
The other pink Vanity With Chain (SGD6750) is a new style with an eye-catching bulbous shape. Measuring 13.5 cm by 9 cm, this unique piece has a beautiful structure to it, and you can’t deny that the leather-interlaced chain elements add a lovely touch from every angle.
