There’s nothing like an exciting new beauty collection to send hearts soaring. Case in point? The arrival of Chanel Beauty’s red-hot N°1 de Chanel range.
Here to overhaul your top-shelf is an entirely new line-up of nine products, an innovative collection of anti-ageing skincare, makeup and fragrance centred around Gabrielle Chanel’s emblematic flower, the camellia.
Chosen for its concentration of protocatechuic acid that supports skin vitality and addresses the first stage of skin ageing, the red camellia flower, in particular the antioxidant rich The Czar variety, is found throughout the range.
The new chapter also offers a sustainable approach to beauty. The red blooms are grown at Chanel’s Gaujacq open sky laboratory and its sustainably sourced ingredients are chosen with intention. The full range of sleek packaging is eco-design driven, where bottles and boxes are crafted using recycled and less material, with no detail spared, right down to the matte black lids.

First up, six skincare products that tick all the right boxes for healthier and more radiant skin. Look forward to sensorial textures and a soothing floral scent that will pamper both skin and psyche.
A standout is the Red Camellia Revitalizing Serum (SGD175 for 30 ml, SGD233 for 50 ml). Within the red dropper bottle is a transparent gel that is all about a refreshing feel. But don’t be fooled by its lightweight texture. Brimming with red camellia extract, the heavyweight formula does a whole lot to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and pores, and improve skin elasticity, while providing comfort and radiance.

This can be layered with the Red Camellia Revitalizing Lotion (SGD100 for 150 ml) that preps skin to better receive the other products applied after: the radiance-giving Red Camellia Revitalizing Cream (SGD167 for 50 g, SGD142 for the refill) and pearlescent Red Camellia Revitalizing Eye Cream (SGD118 for 15 g) that diminishes the appearance of dark shadows and puffiness.
You’ll also find the Red Camellia Powder-To-Foam Cleanser (SGD76 for 25 g), Chanel’s first ever powder cleanser, alongside a handy bi-phased Red Camellia Revitalizing Serum-In-Mist (SGD125 for 50 ml) that aside from being refreshing, replenishes moisture, enhances radiance and revives makeup.

There are also two makeup treats to consider. One, the long-wear Red Camellia Revitalizing Foundation (SGD114 for 30 ml), in 10 shades, imparts a natural glow with a second-skin effect. And two, the multi-use Red Camellia Revitalizing Lip And Cheek Balm (SGD72) in a slim pot that deposits creamy, easy-to-blend colour, in 6 shades.
Rounding up the collection is an addictive and easy-to-wear N°1 de Chanel L’Eau Rouge (SGD179 for 100 ml) fragrance mist. Created with a skincare base enriched with refreshing camellia water and extract, the scent is a soft yet energising proposition of generous florals and sparkling red fruit notes that will keep you coming back for more.
