The Saddle was one of the first bags reintroduced by Maria Grazia Chiuri when she took on the reins of Creative Director of Dior. Measuring 25.5 cm wide and 20 cm high, the chic-looking Saddle took the fashion world by storm in the revamped #DiorOblique motif, but it was quickly introduced in more colours and finishes with each new season.

This year, Dior has unveiled a new style known as the Toile de Jouy Reverse, and you will be able to find it over on the jacquard Saddle in colours like blue and grey. The colours on the ‘reverse’ bags are essentially flipped over for a contrasting effect, so you can think of the Toile de Jouy having a ‘white’ outline now instead of the classic renditions that are typically brighter.

What’s more, personalisation services can be done for the Saddle bag, though you would have to enquire directly with Dior to find out more. Should you prefer the standard version as-is, the Saddle in Toile de Jouy Reverse jacquard retails for SGD5300 for the standard regular size.

Now available in limited quantities at ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre, they all come finished with signature elements like the magnetic ‘D’ stirrup closure, the ‘CD’ strap hardware, roomy pockets inside and a patch pocket on the back. This Saddle is not to be missed if you want a uniquely different Dior bag.
