Givenchy is the latest fashion house to venture into the digital fashion realm with a series of 15 non-fungible tokens (NFTs), created in collaboration with Givenchy’s creative director Matthew M. Williams and graphic artist Chito.

The pair, who recently teamed up for Givenchy’s Spring 2022 pre-collection with eye-catching pieces featuring boundary-pushing airbrushed characters and the brand’s distinctive 4G logo, have come together once again to design these unique digital artworks, originals and first of their kind.

Conceptualising fashion’s role in both the physical and digital landscape, the Chito X Givenchy collection bridges the gap between both worlds with a series of NFTs that reprises the iconic prints featured in the fashion collection. Look forward to pop-inspired graphic works such as Truehearted and Pitty the dog, as well as dynamic animated creations including Ponytail, A Lone Dogg and Givenchy Hockey Mask.

While the duo may already have plans on creating more NFT works in future, the first Chito X Givenchy NFT collaboration will be up for auction on OpenSea from 23 November 2021, where highest offers will be accepted after seven days.

It’s also worth noting that the NFTs are minted on Polygon, an eco-friendly Ethereum-compatible network, and proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting The Ocean Cleanup foundation, so you can feel good while admiring your new NFTs that make for some pretty neat online avatars too.
