Chanel’s Vanity With Chain has certainly evolved into more than just a basic sling bag. What was originally meant to be a fuss-free style shaped after a classic beauty case is now widely available in a myriad of colours, materials and even sizes that appear with every passing season.

For #CHANELCruise, this new-in stunner (SGD5230) is slightly different from the rest, coming in at 17 cm wide and 9.5 cm high, for a fresh addition that will appeal to the fans of the storied French luxury house. 

The leather strap’s addition is completely new, one that is punctuated with numerous ring loops all over, and you will also find a buckle detailing that will allow you to adjust the length as you please. Chanel bags (and even SLGs) typically come with fixed lengths when it comes to their straps, so this added element is a welcome change not to be missed.

There’s also a dual leather-interlaced chain that gives the bag an added rebellious edge, one coming in gold-tone and the other in silver-tone that allows you to layer to great effect.

On the inside, you will find a rather roomy interior that will fit all your daily essentials. Keep an eye out for the three additional card slots which are great for your all-important credit cards, as well as the looped slot that will comfortably hold a single Chanel lipstick or lip balm. Available in black goatskin leather for now, it is also part of the #CHANELCruise collection that will be arriving in local boutiques at Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping in the weeks to come.
