For those who have been living in the comfort of Crocs during this upside down period, here are some striking new ones to consider. Part of the Balenciaga x Crocs collaboration, Balenciaga Crocs 2.0, which was first seen at the design house’s Spring 2022 runway show, offers two eye-catching styles for you to choose from.

First up, the Crocs Madame (SGD875), which sees the classic Crocs clog made into stilettos. The mule features an 80 mm arch and is detailed with the Balenciaga logo on its front and side strap, complete with ventilation ports for added breathability. The tone-on-tone rubber creation comes in four shades, Black, Green, Pink and White, finished with a black outsole, and is available in sizes 35 to 42.

The second, the Crocs Boot (SGD975), is reinterpreted into a platform wellington-style boot, which rises mid-calf, this time around. Crafted in rubber-like EVA material that’s soft and flexible, the round-toe boot is similarly finished with the Balenciaga logo debossed on the front. The style comes in three colours, Black, Green and White, in sizes 35 to 41 for the ladies. For the guys, they will come in Black, Dark Green and Grey in sizes 39 to 46, with some sizes already sold out at their online site.

And in celebration of the Balenciaga Crocs 2.0 launch, Berlin-based mixed-media artists Anna Uddenberg and Kristina Nagel created custom sculptures, which combine the alien and the familiar, with recycled Balenciaga materials, wearing the new Balenciaga x Crocs footwear. The art pieces will be displayed in Balenciaga’s Slone Street London and Madison Avenue New York stores, which you can catch a glimpse of if you’re jetting off on a VTL trip. For now, you can always check out the new Balenciaga Crocs 2.0 footwear line that is now available in Balenciaga stores as well as online.
