– The new MacBook Pro will be powered by the M1 Pro and M1 Max chip, both of which are powerful systems that offer unified memory for top-notch performance. The M1 Pro delivers up to 200GB/s of memory bandwidth which makes it 3x faster than M1, giving you extra power to take on video processing with ease. The M1 Max, on the other hand, is known as the ‘world’s most powerful chip for a pro notebook’, and you can have a choice of going up to the 32-core GPU for even more outstanding capabilities. You can stream multiple 4K ProRes videos in Final Cut Pro, and even do your colour grading in HDR whenever you’re out on the go.

There will also be 2 sizes like the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro which come with a new redesign in terms of materials used. The aluminium enclosure works around a thermal system that keeps it cooler with lower fan speeds, allowing it to maintain its stellar performance while keeping cool and quiet all day long. The Magic Keyboard is also back, with mechanical keys (perfect if you love that clicky tactile sound) and a Force Touch trackpad that are ideal components for the pro laptop.

– Just like the mini-LED technology used for the iPad Pro, the new MacBook Pro will offer a Liquid Retina XDR display to deliver the best range in terms of colours, highlights and shadows. Even the 1080p FaceTime HD camera is integrated effortlessly into the display, along with exceptional audio quality thanks to the six-speaker sound system which offers a three-dimensional listening experience while watching Netflix or playing your favourite songs via Apple Music.

One of the best features that will be making a return? MagSafe charging is finally available for the MacBook Pro once again, offering quick charging of up to 50% in just 30 minutes. There are also numerous Thunderbolt 4 ports, an SD card slot and an HDMI port for connecting to a TV, as well as a handy headphone jack if you need to stay focused whenever you’re on your laptop.

– Don’t rush to head down to Apple just yet, because there’s no official word on when the MacBook Pro will be made available for sale. However, you can head over online to view pricing right now, as Apple has offered various system processing options (choose between the M1 Pro or M1 Max) depending on your needs.
