The first of many holiday collections have arrived, so consider this your timely reminder that the year-end festivities are just around the corner. And ending the year with a bang is the Shu Uemura X Hello Kitty collection that’s big on personality.

The collaboration sees the creation of a gold version of the Sanrio star with an edgy ‘shu’ makeup look, complete with a thunder print on her iconic red ribbon. And just like the charming golden #HelloKitty that’s ready to rock any bash, you can expect to party it up with disco-ball glitters paired with vibrant shades for this Holiday 2021 line.

Look forward to must-haves such as the Rock The Party! Eye Palette (SGD123), with 10 sparkling hues that are housed in an irresistible Hello Kitty head-shaped palette that you can carry around with the gold chain it comes with. There’s also the Rouge Unlimited Disco Glitz (SGD48) in two glitter shades that you won’t want to miss. Housed in a black lacquered case adorned with the golden kitty, the lipstick comes in two shades: Ruby Sparkler for bold glam and Dazzling Nudes for a shimmering finish, both with bullets engraved with the thunder bow motif.

Prices range from SGD30 for the brand’s cult-favourite Eyelash Curler that now comes in gold with a kawaii bow charm, to SGD500 for a collectable Premium Makeup Box to store all your must-have makeup items.

The collection also includes a Mini Lip Coffret (SGD83) with three iconic Rouge Unlimited shades complete with a red glitter clutch that’s perfect for gifting, as well as the Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil (SGD65 for 150 ml), Petal 55 Foundation Brush (SGD80) and Glitter Ball Highlighter (SGD70), that are all decked out in adorable Hello Kitty packaging.

Excited? The Shu Uemura X Hello Kitty collection will pre-launch from 1 to 13 October exclusively online via Shu Uemura’s LazMall flagship and will be available at its ION Orchard boutique from 14 October, and islandwide from 21 October 2021.
