There’s A New Mulberry Mini Bayswater In Collaboration With Richard Malone

2021 is an important milestone at Mulberry, as the British house celebrates its 50th anniversary with different drops that all fall under the ‘Mulberry Editions’ collection. For September 2021, you can look forward to designs created by Richard Malone, with the Irish fashion designer putting his creative spin on signature bags like the Bayswater and Darley. And the good news? These exclusive bags are now available for sale in Singapore, and you will find them over at the Mulberry boutique located at Hilton Shopping Gallery.

Today’s post is all about the Mini Bayswater (SGD1590), with two colours like Blue and Green which all come with added elements like extra pockets, bold white piping and its own serial-numbered Mulberry key fob. Each bag is also crafted from a sustainable version of Mulberry’s iconic Scotchgrain, this time made using a combination of bio-plastic materials such as inedible cereal waste. The result is a scratch-resistant and lightweight material with the same pebble-grain texture as real leather, making it a durable option that will last for years to come.

The contrasting white leather piping on these new editions of the Mini Bayswater are sourced from environmentally accredited tanneries, so you can be sure that Mulberry and Richard Malone have taken full steps in creating a handbag that scores top points in both form and function, along with being earth-friendly as well. And speaking of design, you will also notice that the Postman lock closure has been inverted, giving it a refreshing look with a sleek and modern twist.

The wide shoulder strap (both adjustable and detachable) is also great for days when you prefer a hands-free option, though you can’t deny that the Mini Bayswater looks exceptionally cute when carried via its teeny-tiny top handles. Do note that the Mulberry x Richard Malone collaboration also includes more bag styles like the Barrel Bag and Triangle Bayswater, so do stay tuned for more updates.
