The Bearn is one of the most diversified SLGs available at Hermès, with at least 4 different styles that are currently available. These include cardholders and wallets in various sizes, giving you different options that will cater to your everyday needs. If you’re going for a small bag like the Mini Lindy, you can always opt for the compact-sized Bearn Card Holder, but if you are using bigger bags like the Bolide or Garden Party for the day, then the longest ‘vertical’ Bearn Wallet will do the trick for sure.

Need a recap of the dimensions and inner compartments of all 4? Well, here goes. Measuring 10.3 cm wide and 7.5 cm high, the Bearn Card Holder (SGD2150) slides open to reveal 2 credit card slots on each side, with a slightly bigger pocket tucked beneath that’s great for keeping cash and receipts. The next size up will be the Bearn Compact Wallet (SGD3600), coming in slightly bigger at 12 cm by 9.5 cm. You will find an L-shaped zippered change purse on the left, with ample pockets and slots to keep your essential cards safely stored in place.

The Bearn Wallet comes in two formats, and you can refer to them as the ‘trifold’ and ‘vertical’ versions which are priced at SGD3600 and SGD4300 respectively. The ‘trifold’ opens to reveal 4 credit card slots, 3 pockets, 1 zippered change purse and 1 bill compartment, with the beauty being its ability to be folded and arranged to form a compact silhouette of 11 cm by 8.5 cm when it’s fully closed.

The ‘vertical’ is the biggest of them all, measuring 17.5 cm at its longest and 9 cm wide, fully equipped with 5 card slots, 2 roomy compartments and long gusseted pockets so you will never have to fold your cash. The elongated change purse is also a plus for those of you opting to keep other bits and bobs that need extra security.

All items in the Bearn family are equipped with the signature ‘H’ tab closure, and they predominantly come in materials like Epsom calfskin and Mysore goatskin leathers. Keen to get one now? Hermès Singapore’s online store has a pretty generous selection available, so you can head over there to take a look if you intend on doing shopping in the comfort of your home.
