Chanel Now Has A Clutch That’s Shaped Like Your Favourite Compact

This could easily be the most over-the-top ‘clutch with chain’ creation from Chanel to date, with the French luxury house firmly establishing itself as the master when it comes to detailed and stunning minaudière. This time, it is shaped after your favourite compact, and you will be able to find it in a variety of colour combinations and sizes launched specially for the upcoming #CHANELFallWinter season. And with the shiny, mirrored exterior sure to steal the spotlight wherever you go, this makes for a precious keepsake which no Chanel collector should do without.

For starters, you can consider the larger size which measures 10.7 cm by 10.7 cm, one that comes in a squarish shape with rounded sides just like the compact itself. Priced at SGD9780 each, this Clutch With Chain (yes, they are all given the same generic name) will be available in 3 different combinations. There’s black quilted lambskin with gold-tone hardware, as well as black with silver-tone hardware and another in white patent goatskin that’s also paired with silver-tone hardware.

Each bag opens via the CC logo push clasp, revealing 4 compartmentalised slots which are great for keeping your cash, coins and several important cards. Finished with a long sling chain, you can definitely wear it across the body when you needn’t carry much else, or have it sitting pretty alongside your real compacts on the vanity.

If you love the silhouette but prefer it in smaller (and by small, it means tiny) proportions, Chanel has a second version of the Clutch With Chain which is almost a quarter of the size at 5 cm by 5 cm. Meant to be worn like a necklace of sorts, it comes with a single compartment and mirrored interior that could double up as pill box because nothing else would fit. Priced at SGD4050, this little darling will come in black lambskin as well as in white patent goatskin leather.
