Dimitri Rybaltchenko is one of the longest collaborators with Hermès, having created iconic prints like the Pegase Pop and Space Shopping Au Faubourg which can be found on the luxury house’s extensive collection of silk scarves over the years. Some of these avant-garde prints have gone on to appear on bags and leather goods, and recently even on shoe styles for him and her.

One of his signature prints includes Peinture Fraiche which literally refers to ‘fresh paint’ if you do a direct French-to-English translation. The paint-effect design created by Dimitri Rybaltchenko features Hermès’ signature logo (yes, the ones found on their bright red shopping bags), with a graphic treatment that can be seen on the beloved Oran Sandal (SGD1100) and Quicker Sneaker (SGD1400).

Splashes of the print add a pop of colour to the ‘H’ cut-out and leather insole for the sandals, while the sneaker features an oversized print on both sides. In Singapore, both pairs will be offered in colours like Blanc/Noir and Blanc/Orange, with plenty of sizes ranging from 35.5 to 41 if you make a purchase over at the brand’s e-commerce store right now. Alternatively, you can visit one of local boutiques at Liat Towers, Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre to try them on in person.
