Loewe launched a new limited-edition collector’s box set over the weekend, one that’s made extra special because it will come with 5 exclusive handbag icons in nano-sized proportions. Presented in a beautiful wooden box handcrafted from the finest Paulownia wood in Japan, it is shaped like traditional kiribako containers which are typically used for the presentation of gifts and/or keeping valuable trinkets. This one is divided into 5 different compartments, one each for the smaller-than-small Balloon, Gate, Flamenco, Hammock and Puzzle bags, with each compartment paired with a matching calfskin lining to keep your tiny icons snug.

While Loewe has several nano sizes currently up for sale, the Nano Gate and Nano Hammock are exclusive to this special box set. That said, there really isn’t any reason to say no, considering all 5 mini full-leather bags (along with the precious wooden box) are priced at SGD10,650, making it all the more worthwhile if you sum up the individual parts.

Finished with a laser-engraved Loewe Anagram motif on the lid, the box is then tied together with the sanada-himo cord. The latter is essentially a woven piece of fabric traditionally used by samurai in their protective armour, now adapted as a ribbon tie typically found in Japanese crafts.

The Balloon will come in Primary Red and the Gate in Lagoon Blue, while Candy Pink will be made available for the teeny-tiny Flamenco and Yellow appearing on the Hammock. As for the Puzzle? That will come in the coolest shade of Rosemary Green, making it the perfect set for those in love with bright rainbow hues.
