Valentino’s latest approach to the Rockstud Alcove bag is pretty unique, launching not 1 but 2 different styles of the structured bag for you to decide what’s best for you. For one, there’s the Rockstud Alcove in grained calfskin leather that features the studs only running along the sides, then there’s the Rockstud Alcove with studs all over (shown above) comprising rows and rows of Valentino’s signature hardware covering the entire bag.

Both bags come in the same dimensions that measure 19 cm wide and 12 cm high, opening via the antique-finished brass closure situated below the top handle. The bags fan open like a book to reveal a bright red interior in Valentino’s signature hue, with more than enough space for all your daily essentials. You will also find a slip pocket and 3 extra slots within which are great for keeping cards and cash, saving you the need to bring a wallet out. That leaves you enough room for a hand sanitiser, an extra mask (or two) and other bits and bobs.

In Singapore, you will be able to find both styles which have newly arrived in-stores, coming in colours like Black and Rosso Valentino for the Rockstud Alcove (SGD3900). The one with studs all over? That is priced at SGD4740 and will only come in black with gold studs. Guaranteed to make a statement wherever you go, these bags are also the definition of ‘more is more’.
