This July, the creative team (specifically artist Gianpaolo Pagni) at Hermès has unveiled a quirky new tea service collection known as Hippomobile, with fun pieces like cups, plates and teapots that can be combined together for a truly whimsical look.

The main source of inspiration has got to be the equestrian world (not exactly surprising because it’s Hermès), with the horse made to have an elongated back stretching across a trio of dessert plates. Other items like cups and teapots are meant to be paired together to form a playful design as well, each finished with graphic friezes (taken from Émile Hermès’ collection) that emulate those found on jockey outfits.
The entire Hippomobile collection has arrived in-stores, and you can also find selected pieces available at Hermès Singapore’s online store. The dessert plates are priced at SGD210 each, and the coffee cup with saucer will come in at around SGD270 for the set. Go for the Tart Platter (SGD630) and Square Tray (SGD800) if you need something bigger to serve your teatime treats on, with diameters measuring some 31.5 cm and 17 cm respectively. Looking for something new and exciting for the home? Hermès’ Hippomobile will do the trick for sure.
