Longchamp: The Return Of The Le Foulonné

Longchamp’s beloved Le Foulonné makes a return this season, introduced in all-new shapes and sizes that are all created with the modern day woman in mind. Now, for those who don’t already know, the Le Foulonné made its debut back in 1978, with ‘foulonné’ translating to ‘drummed’ in English, largely referring to the soft and supple leather that’s also the highlight of the entire range. The textured (drummed) finish allows the bags and SLGs to stay resistant to regular wear and tear, making it durable enough to withstand the test of time.

New silhouettes are always something to keep an eye out for, so consider the Le Foulonné Crossbody S (SGD690) which will be made available in 5 different colours. Aside from classic shades like Black and Turtledove, the flap bag will also come in MimosaPale Pink and Red, so there’s a colour for everyone. Longchamp has also kept the design rather minimal-looking, removing any unnecessary embellishments and oversized logos while letting the grained leather shine by itself.

Gently lift the flap and you will find two compartments to store your daily essentials, along with a zipped pocket at the side if you ever need extra security. The stirrup-like buckle will help to adjust the shoulder strap’s length, giving you plenty of options to style the bag. Looking for a new Longchamp classic with an equally great price to boot? Well, this is definitely it, and it can be shopped online now via Longchamp Singapore.
