Looking for bright and fun bags that are perfect for summer? Well, there’s Gucci’s Towards The Sun collection that recently launched in Singapore. Bold and chirpy colours are pretty much the order of the day as far as the line-up is concerned. There’s a beautiful shade of Coral red, another in Emerald Green, with others like Pastel Blue and Yellow available on silhouettes like the Mini Top Handle Bag and Small Shoulder Bag. 

You will also notice that each bag is crafted from straw-inspired fabric, one that carries tactile appeal while looking totally different from the ones in coated canvas or smooth leather that you’re all too familiar with. Also, the base and sides and are fully trimmed in leather, giving it added support that’s much needed for daily usage. 

Both the Mini Top Handle Bag and Small Shoulder Bag are suited for different occasions, one being a more formal-looking design equipped with dual top handles, while the other is slightly more casual, doubling up as a clutch if you remove the chain strap. Should you need a size reference, the bag measures some 20 cm by 19.5 cm, while the smaller shoulder bag is slightly wider (but shorter) at 26.5 cm by 16 cm. 

In Singapore, they are priced at SGD2390 for the Small Shoulder Bag and SGD2900 for the Mini Top Handle Bag, and you will be pleased to know that they have been pre-launched over at the Gucci boutique in Paragon Shopping Centre.
