Yes, these little wonders are the darlings of Chanel’s latest #MetiersdArt collection that was just launched in Singapore. Known as the Flap Card Holder With Chain (left) and Flap Coin Purse with Chain, not only do they tick all the right boxes for being smaller than small and so so cute, these charming SLGs also carry several signature codes of the French luxury house, making them irresistible to all.

To match the iconic diamond lozenge quilting all over the front and back of both SLGs, they are finished with the gold-tone logo on the flap. Even the chain strap comes interlaced with leather, an important detailing that can be found across both styles. And while some of you might argue that they can be a tad too small for daily use at 11 cm by 10 cm and 12.5 cm by 9.5 cm respectively, you can’t deny that they are both perfect for a short stack of cards and cash, which are pretty much all you need these days when you’re running those quick errands.

Paired with gold-tone hardware that works well with the lambskin leather body, both styles are part of the #CHANELMetiersdArt collection, with prices starting from SGD2690 for the Flap Coin Purse With Chain (right). It is made much flatter than its counterpart, unlike the Flap Card Holder With Chain (left), which is slightly more bulbous (holds a tad more) and priced at SGD3360.

It is also adorned with extra metallic hardware on the handle and strap loops which contrast nicely against the leather. It also sports a twist-lock closure that adds to the tactile experience so that’s something worth considering if you can only choose one or the other. One’s slighter thicker and made more ornate, the other is flatter and finished more simply. Which is the one for you?
