Chanel’s highly-anticipated Electro capsule collection officially launches today (28 June 2021), and it’s time you familiarise yourself with two iconic models reinvented with vibrant colours inspired by electronic music. Not only do they make for a statement-making piece, these watches are also definitely collector’s pieces.

First up, the Boy·Friend Electro (SGD23,350) returns in steel, this time adorned with 142 brilliant-cut diamonds around the bezel as well as over on the robot motif featured on the dial. This version (34.6 mm by 26.7) is powered with a high precision quartz movement, and fitted with an interchangeable black quilted pattern calfskin strap. Thanks to the neon pink lining on the underside of the strap, it boasts that extra pop of colour that’s always fun.

Next, the Code Coco Electro (SGD9900) is truly made for lovers of the Barbie-pink hue, with the quilted leather strap contrasting against the blackened steel case for an eye-catching combination like no other. Signature codes of the watch include the princess-cut diamond as well as the Mademoiselle turnlock detail, both of which are unmistakable from afar.

The entire Electro range will only be available in limited quantities (55 pieces for the #CHANELBoyFriend and 255 pieces for the #CODECOCO), so ladies who want to get their hands (and wrists) on one would have to enquire directly with Chanel’s Watch & Fine Jewellery boutique in Takashimaya Shopping Centre for more information.
