If you always wondered how big Balenciaga’s Neo Classic could go, look no further than its latest interpretation of the season, a larger-than-life bag that measures a whopping 54 cm across and 38 cm high. Taking the term ‘large’ to a whole new level, the Neo Classic Large Top Handle is made for both men and women, and is now available in 3 different colours comprising Black, Burgundy and Navy via Balenciaga Singapore’s online store.

Crafted from used calfskin, which explains why it carries a slightly distressed look that mimics the natural ageing process of leather, it comes complete with ‘rusted’ hardware and ‘faded’ detailing for one-off pieces that will never look the same as another. Creative Director Demna has also thrown on an extra Balenciaga keyring, one that comes in a contrasting tone to give an extra pop of colour against the leather body. 

Other familiar elements (iconic signatures of the Classic) include the luggage tag, knotted leather pullers, as well as braided handles which are completely sewn by hand. Priced at SGD4990 each, the Neo Classic Large Top Handle is the one for all future staycations and holidays, and it doubles up as a statement tote for the gym as well.
