Saint Laurent’s Manhattan isn’t a new bag per se, but it is considered one of the newer styles of the house, sitting alongside the Kaia, the Loulou and the Solferino, to name a few. With a simple boxy shape, easy-to-use magnetic clip buckle and an adjustable shoulder strap, the Manhattan is made for individuals looking for a fuss-free bag that’s great for daily use. 

While the full-leather version comes in a myriad of colours like Brick, Dark Green and Rouge Legion, the latest new-in design features a unique mix of brown leather and natural beige canvas. It’s also priced slightly lower than its full-leather counterparts, coming in at SGD2690 each. Measuring 29 cm wide and 20 cm high, the Manhattan Shoulder Bag opens to a single main compartment, with an additional flat pocket for keeping cards and such. 

You won’t find any logos or fancy monograms on this piece, but rather a simple ‘Saint Laurent Paris’ engraved on the gold-tone buckle. Another nifty element not easily noticed in pictures? The shoulder strap can be removed completely, transforming this into an oversized clutch that gives it extra points in terms of versatility.
