Wish you were soaking up some sun and looking out to the glistening waters of the French Riviera? Maison Christian Dior will transport you to a Mediterranean paradise with just a few spritzes of its latest fragrance Eden-Roc, which was created in honour of the legendary luxury hotel, Hotel du Cap-Eden Roc, which just celebrated its 150th anniversary.
Created by Dior perfume-creator François Demachy, the scent is a reflection of Cap d’Antibe’s exceptional location and bottles the experience of arriving at the hotel by sea, taking in the warm sun and journeying along the monumental alley that leads from the sea to the splendid main building, evoking the beautiful way of life that reigns over this corner of paradise.
The salty-woody fragrance opens with top notes of citrus and sea salt that’s as invigorating as the scent of the sea. Its heart, with notes of jasmine and a touch of coconut, brings to mind aromas of tanning oil and skin warmed by the sun. As the perfume dries down, it leaves a trail of Aleppo pine (which imitates the pine forest around the hotel) and resinous amber cistus ladanifer, which give the scent its full Riviera elegance.

You can also complete the sun-filled ritual with other luxurious treats such as the Eden-Roc Candle (SGD130 for 250 g), Eden-Roc Liquid Soap (SGD90 for 350 ml) and Eden-Roc Body Cream (SGD150 for 150 ml), all of which preserve the scent’s salty marine note and its woody freshness.
Priced at SGD155 for 40 ml, SGD350 for 125 ml and SGD500 for 250 ml, the Eden-Roc EDP will be available exclusively at the Maison Christian Dior boutique at ION Orchard from 1 May 2021.
