Fauré Le Page made waves when it announced its latest move from canvas to woven jacquard for the Saga City range of bags, releasing not 1, not 2, but 3 different sizes that will come embroidered in the iconic Ecailles Scale motif. A total of 21,000 stitches go into each square cm of the bag, giving you a thick and intricate motif that’s best admired up close in person. Other finishing touches include the brass metallic corners that will ensure your bags stay protected at all times while adding a shiny element for that extra touch of luxe.

With sizes like Saga City 18, Saga City 31 and Saga City 42, there’s bound to be one for any (and every) occasion. You can think of the 18 as the mini of the trio, measuring 22 cm wide and 18 cm that’s best worn as a crossbody for the everyday. The 31 would be the medium, fashioned as a contemporary handbag with two reinforced handles and an extra leather sling that gives it several ways of wearing. As for the 42, that’s the largest tote in the family right now, complete with the brass-and-leather chain strap that can be worn easily over the shoulder. 

For now, the Saga City bags will only be available in the blue motif, with pre-orders available at Fauré Le Page’s standalone boutique in Takashimaya Shopping Centre open now. Prices start at SGD2890 for the 18, before going up to SGD3290 and SGD3690 for the 31 and 42 respectively.
