The Gate Bag has been given a quick facelift this season, dressed up in a fun, summer-appropriate mix of canvas and calfskin that showcases Loewe’s detailed craftsmanship to perfection. The saddle-stitched knotted leather strap is a beautiful ode to the brand’s heritage, and the metallic pin on the side remains a key signature (and the reason why the bag’s named Gate) of the crossbody bag. 

For Spring-Summer 2021, the canvas/leather ones will come in two colours (both Ecru and Navy Blue canvas are paired with tan leather elements). There are also 2 sizes up for consideration, with the mini that measures 15 cm wide and 12.5 cm high and the small that’s slightly larger at 20 cm by 19 cm.

And if you’re up for a little customisation, the Gate Bag can also be dressed up with some of Loewe’s personalisation charms, and you can attach them to the extra leather strap by the side. Priced at SGD1900 and SGD2900 respectively for the two sizes, you can find both colours (and sizes) at the Casa Loewe flagship in ION Orchard, as well as over at their boutique in Marina Bay Sands.
