Cartier: Meet The New Double C de Cartier Bag

IMAGE: CARTIER

Minimal yet sophisticated could be some of the words that one might use to describe Cartier’s brand-new Double C de Cartier Bag, a new creation immortalised with the jewel-like clasp sitting beautifully in front. Fans of the luxury house will recognise the Double C motif, a traditional motif typically found on the iconic red wax seal that Cartier often uses on their gift wrapping. Today, it doubles up (no pun intended) as the core of the Double C de Cartier Bag, one that comes in a tone-on-tone lacquer finish that matches the colour of the respective bag.

You can look forward to 4 different colours like BlackCherry RedFuchsia and Powder Pink, all of which can be found on both the nano and mini sizes of the bag. And while the #iPhone12ProMax might not be able to fit within the teeny-tiny nano size (17 cm by 13 cm), it will certainly fit into the mini one that’s slightly bigger at 19 cm by 16 cm, which will give you a good gauge of what the respective sizes can fit.

The beauty of the bag lies in its versatile shoulder strap, giving you the ability to wear it short over the shoulder (looped twice) or slung across the body by keeping the strap at its maximum length. The jewel-like clasp opens easily with a simple click, revealing 3 accordion-like compartments that will keep your essentials neat and organised. There’s also a little mirror tucked within, allowing you to have your touch-ups while on the go.

Launched as of this month, the Double C de Cartier is now available online at Cartier, or you can find it over at the local boutiques in ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre. Prices start from SGD2790 for the nano and SGD3400 for the mini, making them great contenders for those looking for a chic full leather bag today.
