Here’s a piece of good news to perk up your day, because Gucci’s Horsebit 1955 Bag finally comes in a mini version that officially makes it the smallest size in the Horsebit 1955 family. Measuring 20 cm wide and 15 cm high, this baby has been updated with several tweaks that you wouldn’t want to miss out on, especially if you’re all about mixing and matching your bag straps from time to time. And here’s why.
The Mini Horsebit 1955 Bag will be sold with two removable straps, and the bag is equipped with two side clasps (a new feature introduced in the mini size) for you to snap either strap on to complete your desired look of the day. The standard leather strap will come in a complementary colour, with a 55.5 cm drop length for you to sling comfortably across the body. The second nylon strap in the green-red-green web will be slightly shorter with a 48 cm drop length, but the thicker width more than makes up for it.
While the bag now comes in a smaller size, the addition of the second strap explains why the new bag is priced at SGD3300 for GG Supreme Canvas and SGD3800 for the ones in leather. The extra nylon web strap can be used together with your other Gucci camera bags or even the small Ophidia Tote, dressing them up with an added dash of colour while staying comfortable on your shoulder at all times.
If you’re all excited and looking forward, do note that these beauties will only be arriving from April 2021 onwards, so you’ve got to wait a tad bit longer before you can get your hands on one. What you can do now, however, is pick a material (leather or GG Supreme canvas) and colour before joining the waitlist, so you can get first dibs on this mini wonder when it finally arrives in Singapore next month.
