From a stellar selection of bags and RTW to signature sneakers like the B23 and B27, Kim Jones seems to have done it all since he took over the reins as Artistic Director of #DiorMen. And for Summer 2021, he goes a step further by introducing a brand new silhouette, the Atlas Sandal, which has arrived on our sunny shores. The upper features a unique combination of materials like the layering of suede together with nylon straps, as well as an openwork mesh detailing to give it that extra bit of breathability.
One of the most interesting features of the Atlas Sandal has got to be the Japanese-inspired sole, and you can expect to find a thick rope detailing that pays homage to the country so loved by Jones. Other finishing touches include the tonal rubber sole underneath, giving you maximum comfort with every step. And should you need help styling them, just throw on a pair of #DiorOblique socks for maximum effect, especially when part of sock’s pattern will be visible through the open portions of the sandal.
The Atlas Sandal will be available in 3 colours, all priced at SGD1450 each. Two styles will come with the #DiorOblique canvas detailing on black or beige suede, while the third pair features black neoprene with khaki suede. All 3 sandals are stamped with ‘Dior’ and ‘CD’ elements all over the sides, straps and sole, giving you an ultra-modern pair that will keep you in style all summer long. Do note that the Atlas Sandal is part of the #DiorMen collection (not women’s), so you should head down to the boutiques at ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands if you would like to get a pair (or two).
