Chanel has released a new version of its signature Flap Bag, one that comes with an unexpected (yet totally adorable) leather top handle in a matching colour, no less. And while it might look similar to the Coco Handle, it is modelled after Chanel’s Classic, which also explains why it comes in the boxy 20 cm by 13 cm shape and with the CC twist-lock clasp that’s easily recognisable even from afar.

The good news? It will be part of the upcoming #CHANELSpringSummer collection that’s launching in Singapore come end-March. Coined the Mini Flap Bag With Top Handle (SGD6380), it will come in the most desirable colours, from Beige to Black, Gold, Silver and even White, making them instantly desirable must-haves that will see lots of use in your bag wardrobe. Classic favourites that will definitely withstand the test of time, they will feature gold-tone metallic hardware for that extra shine, except for Silver which is paired with silver tone-on-tone hardware instead.

The interior is kept relatively simple, and the twist-lock clasp easily opens to reveal a single roomy compartment for all your daily essentials. An extra zipped slot is great for keeping important cards and cash, and you will find two additional pockets (one inside and another at the back) to keep everything neatly in place.
