Lunar New Year falls on 12 February 2021 this year, which means that you will be seeing even more Ox-related bags and accessories right here in the days and weeks to come. Designer brands typically go all out with its annual selection of charms and trinkets to give your bags extra flair, but Furla has dedicated a small capsule collection comprising 5 Ares calfskin goodies (bags and SLGs) that pay homage to the Year of the Ox.

Some of the main highlights include Furla’s signature gold-tone closure which has been updated to mimic the nose of an ox (or is it a cow?), while the bag itself features the addition of cow ears and horns (rendered in leather, of course) to complete the entire look. No prizes for guessing why the bag comes in a predominantly black and white body, and they come finished with ‘eyes’ in the middle of the Metropolis bags. The Metropolis has officially sealed its status as a classic Furla bag, and you can look forward to 3 sizes in Furla’s Super Cow capsule collection, the Mini S (10 cm by 8 cm), rectangular Mini (17 cm by 13 cm) and half-moon Mini (20 cm by 16 cm).

Stocks will begin arriving from late-January, but you can start pre-ordering your desired pieces at any Furla boutique in Singapore from today. Prices start from SGD170 for the Zipped Cardholder and SGD178 for the Ox Charm. As for the bags, the Metropolis Mini S is priced at SGD380, while the larger Metropolis (both sizes) are priced at SGD640 each. Niu year, niu bag?
