Hermès Ultrapla GM Bag

Bags for men under Hermès have always been under the radar, which is the way the fans want it, with styles that are so discreet that if you aren’t in the know, you would never know they were from the French luxury house in the first place. And today, a newish style takes the spotlight, also one of the thinnest bags created for men to date.

Coined the Ultrapla (which stands for ultra-flat), Hermès has essentially merged two pouches side by side, before adding the 134 cm long shoulder strap to give you a crossbody bag meant to be slung close to your body. The bag is great for the lads who are all about function and quiet luxury, without any large logos or chunky hardware, save for the tiny detailing on the zipper’s end. Designed to hold everything from your compact cardholders to mobile phones, the Ultrapla will come in two sizes, with the Ultrapla GM (31 cm by 20.5 cm) available online via Hermès Singapore now.

Why is it priced at SGD5900? Well, that’s mainly because you’re getting a leather-lined interior for both pouches, in addition to the leather on the bag proper. The Togo calfskin exterior is known for its drummed pattern, proven to be resistant to scratches with the ability to stay soft and supple to the touch. Aside from the classic Noir, you will also be able to find it in Vert-De-Gris, a stunning shade of green that’s equally (if not, more) gorgeous.
