Coach’s vintage Swinger Bag is swinging right back into fashion, all thanks to a reworked design that’s now part of The Coach Originals collection. Each bag in the series is directly inspired by an archive design and this one is no exception, reimagined from a 1990s design and given subtle tweaks and revisions that make it perfect for today. The streamlined bag is available in a single size, measuring 23.5 cm wide and 14 cm high, with a curved top which ensures that it will sit beautifully under the arm at all times.

What’s great about the Swinger Bag (other than the fact that it’s priced under SGD500) would be its versatility, of course, all thanks to the detachable straps that it comes with. The top handle has a drop length of approximately 20.5 cm so you can go ahead and hold the bag by hand, wear it under your arm or slide it casually over the shoulder as you please.

The second strap is more of an elongated sling, coming in the perfect proportions (54.5 cm drop length) that will allow you to wear it cross-bodied for a casual look. You can also detach the top handle when you strap the Swinger Bag across the body, or just leave both on for that more-is-more look.

Aside from Chalk and Maple featured above (SGD495), the full glove-tanned leather versions will also come in Black and Forest. Some designs feature a mix of Coach’s signature jacquard canvas and leather, such as Burgundy/Cherry, Oak/Maple and Navy/Midnight Navy. The third variation would be the ones in lightweight nylon, with options like Black and Navy priced slightly lower at SGD475 each.
