Another day, another pair of sneakers, and this time the spotlight shines brightly on Dior’s all-new B27 Sneaker collection, a new collection for the boys in both low-top and high-top versions. In 3 different colour combinations each (which also means there are 6 different colours/styles to choose from), you could say this is Kim Jones adding to the sneaker repertoire that also includes the B22 and B23 sneakers.

Kim Jones has also cleverly integrated the house’s signature #DiorOblique print within the leather upper, with detailing in either Beige/Black jacquard canvas or a laser-cut leather insert that’s simply referred to as the #DiorOblique Galaxy. The former will be available on both the black and grey versions, while the latter will only be found on the all-white pair, so you just need to decide if you prefer a full-leather design or one that comes in a mix of canvas and leather.

Other technical aspects of the B27 Sneaker collection include the ‘CD’ icon on the shoe tongue, the extra DIOR signature found on both the heel and sole, as well as the lace-up closure finished with CD eyelets that are all subtle nods to the French luxury house.

The good news? Selected colours/styles are available in Singapore right now, so give the #DiorMen boutiques at ION Orchard (6884-5688) and Marina Bay Sands (6688-7888) a call before heading down to try them out. The low-top version is pretty straightforward as a lace-up sneaker, while the high-cut comes with an adjustable (and removable) #DiorOblique strap at the ankle, priced at SGD1450 and SGD1600 respectively. Pair them both with an accompanying pair of monogrammed socks for the more-is-more look, or simply add plain white socks to let the bold B27 Sneaker shine on its own. You know the drill.
