Dior has pretty much got the right formula when it comes to their bestselling bags and shoes, one of them being the Dway Slide that returns season after season in a new variety of prints and colours. You last saw it on the red polka-dotted #DiorAmour, as well as paler shades of grey and pink in Toile de Jouy embroidery. This season, it returns for Cruise 2021, featuring the emblematic Dior In Lights motif, a key seasonal print inspired by the vibrant lights of Puglia.

You would have caught a glimpse of the print embroidered on bags like the Book Tote and the Lady D-Lite, or finely beaded on the timeless Lady Dior to give a beautiful 3D-like effect. Dior has cleverly introduced the Dway Slide in a matching print to complete the look, especially if you’ve gotten your hands (or are planning to get) one of the bags from the Cruise 2021 collection. The Dior In Lights motif is fully printed on the leather insole of the Dway Slide, coming in three different colour combinations for your choosing.

Prices have remained relatively the same since the very first pair of Dway Slide in plain leather was released last year, priced at SGD1050 each. But if you prefer an elevated piece, you can also top up slightly to get the Dway Heeled Slide which comes with a 5 cm block heel. Selected colours are also available across all 3 Dior boutiques in Singapore, so you know what you have to do if you haven’t gotten your weekend plans sorted out.
