Burberry’s Pocket Bag might have established itself as the go-to tote for ladies, but the British luxury brand looks set on winning you over with another signature, the all-new shoulder bag known as the #OlympiaBag. The sleek silhouette looks best when it’s carried effortlessly under the arm, demonstrated to perfection on models Bella Hadid, Hyun Ji Shin and Kendall Jenner back in February 2020 this year. And Burberry has gone all out with the Olympia, launching it in numerous colour combinations and sizes that will all be shared in detail below.

 – Designed by Riccardo Tisci, the Olympia Bag made its debut at Burberry’s Fall-Winter 2020 runway show, coming in a compact crescent shape inspired by the show venue at Kensington Olympia in London.

 – Several thoughtful elements have been added and placed for ease of use, such as the zippered compartment in front and another slip pocket at the back to keep all your quick-access cards and the like easily within reach.

 – The Olympia Bag is currently offered in 3 sizes, starting with the Mini Olympia which measures 19 cm by 11 cm, the small size at 26 cm by 15 cm, and the medium one at 30 cm by 18 cm. There are at least 10 different variations of the Olympia, ranging from designs in knitted tartan to the 100% calf leather versions in colours like Black, Juniper Green and Light Biscuit.

– Each bag is made in Italy, and the star of the design has to be the adjustable shoulder strap found across all three sizes. The clever mechanism can be easily ‘unbuckled’ to lengthen (or shorten) as you please, giving you two ways of carrying the bag, short under the arm or long across the body.

– Prices start from SGD2190 for the mini, going up to SGD2850 and SGD3250 for the small and medium sizes respectively. You will find the Olympia Bag at Burberry’s online store, or just head down to their boutiques in Singapore to check on their availability.
