The perfect nude lipstick is one that can freshen your complexion and take a couple of years off. That said, finding the right natural lip hue might be tricky. But that’s where YSL Beauté comes in, recognising that nude is more than with its Illicit Nudes collection. Serving up flattering nudes for all skin tones in 2 formulas, both infused with the mallow flower extract from its very own Ourika gardens to illuminate the pout. Ready to tone down the bold reds and preppy pinks? Here are easy-to-wear options that range from beiges to caramels and burgundies to rich cocoa.

For starters, there’s the luminous matte Slim Glow Matte (SGD54) which features the same ultra-slim, square-cut bullet as its predecessors for precise application. It is enriched with light-reflecting micro pearls to give lips subtle luminosity for extra depth, like matte paint hit by the evening light. Slide it on straight from the tube to drench lips in full colour or dab it on for a little extra texture. It comes in 10 new shades and a sleek case, which is now an eye-catching rose gold base accompanied by the iconic YSL Cassandre logo.

There’s also the Water Stain Glow (SGD52) that works like a lip stain but with an amplified glow. Brimming with water, the liquid formula drenches lips in a polished sheen and long-lasting colour like a watery gloss. And because it is spiked with aloe vera, it keeps your pout conditioned for comfortable wear. In 9 shades, it’s fitted with a rose gold cap featuring the YSL Canssandre logo too.

The Slim Glow Matte lipsticks will be available islandwide from 2 October at all YSL Beauté stores, while the Water Stain Glow ones will pre-launch online on 29 October via TANGS before being available at YSL Beauté stores from 5 November 2020.
