Louis Vuitton Epi Neverfull MM

The year was 2007 when Louis Vuitton launched its game-changing Neverfull, coming in 3 different sizes (PM, MM and GM) with a choice of materials such as Monogram Canvas and Damier Ebene. In 2013, they unveiled smashing new versions in the brand’s signature Epi, giving the fans additional options for those who love a full leather tote that did not come embellished with monograms and logos. Since then, Louis Vuitton has attempted to streamline their colour offerings, with only Galet and Noir Electric at the moment.

Now, before diving into both colours and their availability in Singapore, here’s a quick recap about all-things Neverfull. While newer designs such as the Onthego have slowly gained their fair share of fans, the Neverfull is considered a classic design of the house, and you will find that it’s one of the few bags that are always up for personalisation services such as the My LV Heritage and My LV World Tour series. The bag is really easy to use, coming in an open-top design with ‘laces’ at the side that can be tightened for a compact silhouette or kept loosened for a relaxed look. Each Neverfull also comes with an extra pouch, one that can be removed and used on its own as a clutch or kept within the bag as a zippered pocket.

As for the Epi leather designs, they are seen as the minimalistic alternative, thanks to its tone-on-tone finish. The grained leather is known for its resistance to scratches, and you can always give it a simple wipe down after use to keep it in a pristine condition at all times. The Neverfull Epi MM (SGD3100) only comes in a single size (31 cm by 28 cm) in Galet, a warm grey hue which carries a feminine appeal, as well as Noir Electric which is as classic as it gets. In an era when new bags are consistently churned out month after month, it’s pretty amazing how a 13-year-old design remains a forever-classic of the house, one that you can always count on no matter the season and trend.
