If there’s one luxury brand out there that loves giving you numerous options when it comes to colourful customisation choices, Fendi will be it. Heralded as one of the early pioneers of giving you the freedom to customise as you please (yes, remember the Strap You straps?), the Italian luxury brand has gone all out with its latest concept, coined the #PeekabooBar, that has finally arrived on our sunny shores.

In total, there are four different components for you to pick and choose, ultimately leading you to a dream combination that’s yours and yours only. First up, decide on what leather you would like, and you can choose from 14 choices such as calfskin and patent leather, as well as exotic skins like croc and lizard. Next, you can move on to the top handle, and you will be pleased to know that Fendi has included 20 variations like crocodile and leather, along with new and novel designs like plexiglass and stone. Yes, there’s even a version that comes in a gold and glittery finish, perfect for the lady who loves to make a fashion statement whenever and wherever.

Moving over to the Defender, a chic little cover that doubles up as a raincoat for your bag, preventing it from the occasional drizzle or accidental spills. It can also keep your handbag away from dirt and safe from scratches while amping up on that style factor, thanks to the array of bright and beautiful (go for the Fendi rainbow monograms for maximum effect) combinations it comes in. Lastly, choose your Strap You, one that you will be relying a lot on to carry your bag casually over the shoulder. Both the Defender and Strap You come in 6 different choices each, so it shouldn’t be too difficult picking one.

After travelling around the world to Fendi boutiques in Bond Street, Taipei 101 and Hong Kong’s Landmark, the exclusive service is currently available from now till 7 October 2020 at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Thereafter, the #PeekabooBar will move over to Takashimaya Shopping Centre from 9 to 15 October 2020, so you know what to do next.
