Ladies, you better buckle up and get ready for Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2021 because the miniature vanity cases (there’s a couple in pink and white on the runway) will be the ones that fly off the shelves the moment they arrive in boutiques. You read it here first, so mark your calendars for February 2021 because it’s going to be a fresh and exciting year ahead.

Yes, the mini sizes are technically big enough for all your hopes and dreams, and you can’t deny that they are absolutely adorable. Should you be craving for something similar but way more functional, however, then Fall-Winter 2020’s Small Vanity Case will be your answer.

Measuring 14.5 cm by 10 cm, this chic and handy case comes with two zippered compartments, one in front, and the other at the back. This gives you slightly more breadth to keep your items well organised, making it easier to find your essentials rather than throwing them all into a single compartment. You will also find a slip pocket tucked behind the CC logo for holding several bits and bobs, along with a smaller cut-out that’s reminiscent of the ones found on your favourite Classic Flap. The Small Vanity Case comes in a mix of lambskin and shiny crumpled calfskin, giving it an extra bit of character and a playful touch executed to perfection by Chanel’s Artistic Director Virginie Viard.

Aside from pink, there will also be a larger selection of colours available in boutiques, though that’s subject to availability from store to store. Credit must also be given to the team for upping the details on their leather goods, right down to the gold-tone chains on the Fall-Winter 2020 Small Vanity Case (SGD6180) which are chunkier than usual. Fun, but still functional, small is definitely here to stay as far as Chanel is concerned.
